Outram to Tanjong Pagar

On the two previous photography outings, fat-pat and I came up with the location and route, this time, it was Alien's turn. Too bad fat-pat couldn't make it... he didn't die, he just couldn't join us. Well, he's alive and probably getting fatter in Mexico right now, and will only be back in 3 years time, except for the occasional visits.

We started our journey from Outram MRT station, heading towards Kampong Bahru and taking some photos along the way.

Walking into a small road inside Kampong Bahru, we came across a Hindu Temple, and the people there were very kind to let us explore. Nothing much to explore though, as the temple is pretty small.

To get to the temple, we needed to walk down a flight of steps which bridges a gap over a drain, and along that drain, there's a fence. Our motive for this excursion was to go into Tanjong Pagar KTM Station, little did we know that we had access to the train tracks itself, albeit illegal access. There was a hole in the fence that led into the train tracks. I'm not sure whether the hole is there though.

After being chased away by the sentry at the train tracks, we headed to our initial goal, Tanjong Pagar KTM Station. The train here travels to many states in Malaysia, and the trains are very old. I have to clarify that the photos of parts of the trains you see here are no longer in use, and the trains still in use are most probably still very safe to travel on. I've not tried it yet, but I intend to.

Oh! One more thing, the cat you see bleeding through its nose; it really isn't bleeding, it's photoshop-ed; and the foot on the cat is just a gentle pat on its back. But if you feel a strong need for justice to be done, just take note: the foot isn't mine.

Note to self: take a train ride to Malaysia soon.
