Avril - the lastest member in the Seah family

My youngest uncles's (my mum's brother) baby girl - Avril. He said they chose Avril because it means the beginning of Spring - what a beautiful name! The youngest addition to the Seah family and my youngest niece.

She spent all of her time sleeping when our side of the family was there. Luckily, I stayed on even though every single family member, but one, had left. It was her baby shower and due to space constraints, they had to stagger the timing of our arrivals, so the in-laws came later.

Avril finally decided to open her eyes a few hours after my arrival there. Before that, she was either sleeping or drinking milk with her eyes closed! I wonder, are all babies like this?

The things we don't see - Vivo City

Honestly, I feel I should be receiving some kind of a reward for this photo. Maybe it doesn't look that great to you, but to me, it's the best photo I've ever taken, and I hope it doesn't end here.

This is one of the most recent photography outing I went on, in the ratio of photo date to blog post date. Most of the previous blog posts you see are photos taken quite some time back, even though the posted dates are in  June. Now that my girlfriend works in Vivo, I go there a lot, and I decided that I should spend one afternoon looking out for things we don't usually take note of when we are there.

I believe people who have visited Vivo City before will wonder whether some of the photos are really from Vivo City; well, yes, they all are.

Vivo City is just located next to Harbour Front, in fact, they are connected. Vivo City is where most tourists go for shopping (the biggest shopping mall in Singapore - though it doesn't mean anything since Orchard Road is where everyone goes for the sole purpose of shopping)and a visit to Sentosa or even if they are going to Bali or Batam via ferry from Harbour Front.

Kamen - My elder brother's little kitten

At the time of the photos, Kamen was still a little kitten jumping around exploring life. By the time of this post, he's probably almost ready to start a family.

Tioman

The girlfriend was really eager to go on a holiday during a long weekend. She's a holiday fanatic. She used to travel a few times every year when she was with a hotel. There were company retreats and hotel discounts, thus the frequent flying.

For me, exploring the World picked up pace only after I met her, and I'm so glad I did! =)

Tioman is located off the east coast of Pahang, Malaysia. As you can see from the photos, your time spent there is mostly in the sea or looking at it. There isn't much water sports available since they are trying to preserve the coral reef, but that's what makes Tioman a nice place for snokel-ers and divers. It's a nice place to go for a break and recharge before months of work ahead till your next holiday...
